Good Day Deathlings, 

Welcome to the first main channel video of 2022! 

I can't tell you what a joy it is to finally release this little anthropodermic bibliopegy video. We actually started to work on this way back in ye olden times of early 2020, but then well...you know. So our little skin books video had to be shelved, so to speak, for a time. 

But then we saw a window this year! 

Making videos like this one, we always feel so lucky to know the passionate weirdos we know. I say "weirdo" with the utmost love and respect. I prefer the weirdos. 

Suddenly the stars aligned and we were able to travel to Philadelphia and meet up with our friends at The Historical Medical Library of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia more commonly referred to as the Mütter Museum. Then I got to spend an afternoon with Megan Rosenbloom filmin', gabbin', skin book learnin'. 

I know the whole team gets antsy when we have a good video on ice, but this time I'm so happy we made the call to wait. It was such an honor to "meet" the books in Philadelphia, I can't imagine the video without them. Seeing the books, getting to touch them, meeting the people who care for them – it made the experience of building this video that much richer. 

I hope you enjoy the skin book journey as much as we did.
