Easy TV Shows For a 2 Hour Flight
Added 2025-05-01 00:36:27 +0000 UTCSo, as you may, or may not know, Dan and I are going to visit our friends in South Carolina for a long weekend. The last time we did this flight, I watched Nobody Wants This. It was quick, peppy and easy to follow for someone who is a wreck on planes. Seriously. I'm really, really bad. Plus planes seem to be just falling out of the sky lately, so I'm sure I'll be worse on this flight.
Do you guys have any ideas for stuff that's sitcom length that I can watch on the plane? It doesn't actually have to be comedy (however, no jump scares!), but I'd like it to be less than 30 minutes an episode, if possible. If it's quick, it feels like the flight is going quickly. I don't make the rules.
Some stuff I've enjoyed in what I'm looking for: The Bear, One Day, Derry Girls, Normal People, Search Party, Fleabag, Never Have I Ever, I Am Not Okay With This, The IT Crowd, The End of the Fucking World, Heartstopper, etc.
Shows I tried to watch and did not enjoy: Dead to Me, Weeds, Sex and the City, Abbott Elementary, Ricky and Morty.
I have zero frame of reference for anime. When I was trying to Google this, lots of people suggested anime, but I wouldn't even know where to start. I'm 100% open to beginners stuff if you can recommend some, though. I trust you guys.
Or a laid back, fun movie would be fine too. You guys know I don't watch a ton of movies, so it would be silly for me to try to list things I've seen versus haven't seen. But, if it's a movie, a comedy would be preferable.
Really, I'm just trying to make myself as removed from the flight as humanly possible. Open to other suggestions as well. I used to listen to guided mediations, but that just made my anxiety worse. Mostly, I'm trying to not get drunk at 8am.
