My darlings, my angels, my pandemic pretties,
We're back with another ICONIC CORPSE.
For the moment, I only feel comfortable going to places that are one-shot, several hour driving distance away. I know some people feel differently (and I'm not judging) but you'd really have to haul me kicking and screaming onto a plane. That's why I was so grateful to drive over to Joshua Tree (which I already love, and visit at least once a year) to film this new video.
I mean it when I say Gram Parsons is probably North America's finest Iconic Corpse. The story has it all. Once I found out you could just casually rent the room where he died and it's all memorialized and decked out and Gram-themed I was like, "well, the universe is just asking me to do a video on this."
I'm planning to start filming a new video today (to begin working on for January) but would you believe my across the hall neighbors are moving out...TODAY? As in, right now. Like movers, yelling, giant furniture clanking around, etc. Sigh. I think they've lived in this building for something like 40 years. Things really are changing.
I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed making it,
Caitlin
