Arrow 7X20: Confessions

Oh, I loved this episode so much. I don't know how much of it is real and how much of it is Roy related (I'm such a Roy whore), but I was so happy watching this. (Well, not happy, but you know).

So, Team Arrow tracked the Ninth Circle to the metro station where they were planning on releasing the biological weapon. They stopped the attack, but Emiko and the Ninth Circle got away. Oh, and two security guards ended up dead. So all of Team Arrow is getting questioned to figure out who did it.

Dinah, who was not out with Team Arrow that night (lies), runs the interrogations along with one of the cops who is pretty against the vigilantes being part of the SCPD. Also, just for funh, we brought Roy in on this mission. Huzzah! (At least until later).

Everyone tells basically the same story. We all leave out the fact that Dinah was there. And we all claim that Roy was knocked out and didn't come to until after the killings were over. Oliver tries to make it look like the something he's holding back is that Emiko killed the guards, which he eventually confesses to seeing. Him wanting to protect his sister makes perfect sense to Dinah and the SCPD closes the case.

However, it turns out that Roy actually killed the guards. We were all doing just fine and Roy was doing his job until he just flipped and beat the guards to death. The team decides to cover for him and they come up with a story that is mostly the truth, but sub in Emiko killing the guards for Roy. Also, we all eliminate Dinah from the story so she's able to run the questioning.

Back at the bunker, it's Oliver's job to figure out what happened with Roy, but he thinks he already knows. And he does. Turns out, Roy's taken a trip through the Lazarus Pit. He ended up dying while trying to save Thea (he saved her, no worries there), and since they had the elixir, they figured it would be fine to bring him back. But the elixir, mixed with the Mirakuru apparently didn't work properly on him and he's got the blood lust.

Shortly after this discovery, Felicity figures out where the Ninth Circle HQ is, so we all (Roy included) head over. Oliver confronts Emiko and we find out that she's got the security footage of the metro station and is sending it over to the loser cop right now. So, they are going to get outed. Then she tells Oliver she knew the Gambit was going to explode and she chose not to tell their dad, wanting him to die. AND THEN she fucking blows up the damn building leaving Oliver for dead. I have no idea what happened to everyone else, but Felicity cannot get in touch with anyone on the team.

Can I just say that I watched 3 shows this week already where main characters died? I do not need anyone on this team to die in this episode. It's been a rough week of TV watching already.
