New Article: Privilege Does Not End With Death

We have a new article on the Order website today that is a great tie to the video we released over the weekend.
In Grave Matters: Segregation and Racism in US Cemeteries, author David Sherman explores how privilege influences how we "interact with cemeteries, crematoria, and remains?" He continues, "What matters in these stories is the ruse of whiteness in the face of death."
Though we often talk segregation and exclusion in America as things of the past, that is sadly far from the truth. Our cemeteries are evidence of that.
Thank you deathlings for continuing to be curious and compassionate toward the dead – all the dead – even in these difficult times. We know it's not easy to look atrocities in the face especially when you may be living through such. But I'm always moved by how kind and compassionate this community is.
