Brunch, Bangs, and Cremated Remains: A Week in My Life

Today you get a whole lot of me. A week's worth to be exact. 

I actually started this VLOG as a sort of SECRET project. Candidly, I wasn't sure if it was going to be embarrassingly boring, so I didn't tell Louise or Landis I was doing it until I was nearly finished. Plus I had to come clean because it would've been suspicious (and creepy) if Louise got on our Skype meeting and there I was just CASUALLY FILMING HER. 

But all things considered, I actually had fun doing this and *GASP* learned things about myself. I mean, you may still think it's embarrassingly boring (LOVE ME), but I legitimately learned a thing or two about my work/life balance. Growth! [AIRHORN!]

Is filming oneself for a week and commenting on one's mundane goings-on the path to Millennial self-discovery? 

I hope not.

*A quick, but important clarification: If you clicked on this post from your email, the subject probably read, "Caitlin Doughty's new patron-only video". This is not a patron-only video; this is a video that was released to the public. When we release patron-only videos we will explicitly state in the video info and in the video post that it is a "Patron Exclusive" video. Patreon recently changed the way Patrons-only video posts (i.e. these nifty messages that are delivered to your inbox) are released via email – automatically adding that "patron-only video" line to the subject, even if that's not the case. But that's not how we (and a lot of other creators) do things. So, sorry for the confusion! I hope this cleared things up! We're working on fixing this with Patreon.
