Um, the actress who plays Callie is Australian? I had no idea. Her American accent is so good.

This is what I wanted the follow up from episode 10 to be. Although, they 100% got me with assuming the ambulance was for Sophia and her self harming. (Although, we sort of ended up there anyway). So, when we get back to the party, we find out that after the fight with Callie, Robert had what he thought was a heart attack, but actually turned out to be a panic attack. And Sophia comes downstairs completely fine.

Later, Stef goes over to the house to try to convince Robert to sign the abandonment papers, but he tells her he's getting a lawyer and is going to fight for custody. Fuck this asshole. If you really loved and cared about your daughter, you'd do what made her happy. Which is to not be with you. Plus, he's not doing a great job with the daughter he already has. Remember when Callie met her for the first time and she was all, 'Yeah, I had to give up doing all the stuff that makes me happy because my parents are really focused on my college career.'?

At the hearing, the judge decides that we need more time to assess, so Callie is told she can stay with the Fosters for the next 180 days. But, she needs to agree to see Robert once a week. Callie says okay, but refuses to see either Jill or Sophia, and she doesn't want to meet at the house.

The next day (maybe) Sophia shows up at Callie's job begging for forgiveness. Callie tells her she ruined her life and she'll never forgive her for it. Sophia tells her that if she doesn't forgive her, she'll kill herself. And then she walks out into traffic trying to get run over. Callie calls Robert and I guess the cops because they are there too. Sophia claims it was an accident that she just wasn't looking, but after the cops leave, Callie tells Robert that it wasn't an accident.

Meanwhile, Jesus decides to skip the dance competition (more on that later) and go see his mom in AA. He slips in without her seeing him and just listens. And finds out, she's pregnant and vows to stay sober for this baby, which she couldn't do with the twins. Ugh. It hurts so much. Jesus must feel awful that his mom is able to get it together for this kid, but not him and Mariana. I feel so badly for him. Also, are we thinking this baby is Mike's?

Mariana's dance competition is today and the stupid bitch captain keeps trying to change everything up until the last minute. Then she decides to cut Mariana's solo because she doesn't think she's good enough. So one of the other members decides to quit in protest. And we wait for Mariana to join her, but she doesn't. Oh, the tongue lashing I was giving poor Mariana when she let Tia quit for her. But, it turns out, Mariana found a loophole in the rules, which means she and Tia can now go the finals with their own dance team. Phew. I didn't wanna be pissed at Mariana for this. (Although, she could have let Tia in on her plan).

And Brandon gets invited to a prestigious music school for the summer, which will pretty much guarantee his entry to whatever music school he wants. But, he wants to tour with his band for the summer.

Comments

Yes the actress that plays Callie is Austrailan and I was just as suprised as you when i found out becuase of how convincing I thought her American accent is. Also love the fake out with Marianna because I really thought that she just betrayed the one person on the team who was actauly truly nice to her and a true friend to her. Loved that she got the last laugh with that team captain was being rude to her whilst still secretly being their for her friend. Also with Brandon and Callie I don't really know what to feel about them at this point in time since i really loved Callie with Wyatt and thought that he was good for her but also kinda still love her with Brandon. uuuugghhh i so wish i had a clearer perspective on this with them. But also Brandon was 100% right when he said that Callie only runs back to him when everything else in her life has gone to shit. Also really glad that Sophia is gonna be getting actual mental health help and that they are not just gonna sweep her trying to get run over and kill herself under the rug because like you said she was already having issues before Callie even showed up. Hate that Callie has to wait 180 more days before being able to get adopted because if he had just signed the papers again she could have still been able to see him it’s not like she was gonn be completely out of his life for good and he could have still had some sort of relationship with her but nooo he had to do this. The reveal i've been waiting to see you react to has finally happened. I mean do we think that Anna is going to be a better parent this time around than she was with Jesus and Marianna. I mean i hope she does end up being better but im worried she might slip back into addiction once the baby is born out of stress or something and abandon this baby like she did with the twins but i really hope she stays strong and truly becomes a great mother to the baby because i do believe that she is telling the truth and means it when she says she wants to change and amend for her mistakes. We will have to see how Jesus and Marianna react to the news though. Idk what i was thinking but i really thought the reveal with conner and Jude was gonna be that they made out with eachother which I think his dad whould have reacted worse to and might just straight up abusing his kid more over than the secret being that Jude and Conner made out with some girls in their year which is what it ended up being in the end. Hope Conner is able to forgive Jude soon though because he is kinda the only friend Jude has at the moment.
