Arrow 7X15: Training Day

So, most of this episode felt like it was Team Arrow vs the SCPD. And I repeated myself 1000 times (I'm sorry), but I just cannot understand why they'd let Team Arrow work with them, but not let them do anything they're actually good at! And then, at the end, when we compromise, I have no idea how that's different than what we wanted to do all along.

But anyway, we're busy trying to take down this guy who's manufacturing poisoned bullets. However, Team Arrow is all, if you would just let us do this our way, it'd be done already. But the mayor is all over Dinah to play by the book (she doesn't want any of the vigilantes on the SCPD anyway and is actively looking for a way to get rid of them- which is stupid, she pulled them on because they got results) so nothing gets accomplished.

Shortly after, Oliver decides to go rogue. He corners the guy and asks him what he's making (and maybe where he's keeping it- I can't exactly remember). At first the guy says nothing, but when Oliver dangles him over the toxic poison, he starts talking real fast. Oliver arrests him and bring him in. Where he is promptly let go by the mayor. Fun. Apparently the confession was coerced, and in the meantime, Dinah managed to get a warrant which (for whatever reason) they can't use now.

However, after this, somehow Team Arrow and the SCPD just magically work together to capture him and get the poison off the street. I have no idea how what they did this time is any different, but we win, so yay?

In the aftermath of that, the mayor decides to make them a vigilante task force (which 100% was what I thought we were brought on to do) so all is well in Whoville.

Meanwhile, Laurel heads to Slabside to talk to Ben about the fact that Diaz is dead. And he knows who did it. He wants out, which she's working on, but it takes time, so he asks to see his son instead. As soon as Laurel comes through, he tells her the New Green Arrow killed Diaz. And Laurel knows that is Emiko so she confronts her. But, Emiko is all 'Who would believe you anyway?' Um, they know her a lot better than they know you. Just saying.

Flashing forward, we finally find a cassette recorder and listen to the tape. Felicity apologizes for keeping them apart all these years, but claims it was for their own protection. Then she gives them some coordinates to tell 'the team' and tells them to get the hell out of Star City. Oh, and don't try to find her. The coordinates are in the Glades, so I assume that's where we're heading to next.

It's still killing me that we don't know what happened between now and when Oliver and Felicity never see William again (and Oliver never sees Mia at all). How did that play out? Ugh! Just tell me show! (But you guys don't tell please. Lol.)
