Hello, hello. Happy Saturday.
Dan is starting to feel better. I am starting to feel worse. Can't win 'em all. As for now, I don't anticipate any changes. I might not sound great as we go into next week, but we've been here before. I'm sure it will be fine.
This week we finish S2 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series; and start S3 of it. Final Destination 2 posted today, and two drunk re-watches of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia will post tomorrow. God, I love this show. It's both awful, and the best at the same time. We also start s3 of Prison Break. I have no idea where we go from here, but I'm so excited to find out!
I feel like I was in a better mental state this week, than I was last week. Even though I was running around trying to take care of Dan. But, to be fair, I always thrive better in a hectic, chaotic environment. I don't suggest it, but I was always able to produce much better work under a deadline. My childhood bred me to live in frenzy. Lol.
This weekend I finished The Pitt. Holy fuck was that show stressful. Today I watched the The Dark Side of Kidfluencing of Netflix. It was gross. I'm glad I don't really watch any underage stuff on Youtube (and I watch a crazy amount of YouTube). If you guys wanna suggest more documentaries like that, I'd be grateful.
I also finished Kelly Bishop's memoir. It was fascinating, but not particularly well written. But, you get so invested in her life, it doesn't really matter. Tomorrow I'm starting Bethany Joy Lenz's Dinner For Vampires, which is highly anticipated in my brain.
Also, about books, I've been on hold at that library for Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow since August 2023; that's about a year and a half. Is it worth it? It still tells me I'm several months from getting a copy (but it's said that since I placed the hold). What do you guys think? Okay. One more thing about books, I've never really hardcore gotten into fantasy, but it seems to be very popular. I've read Harry Potter and The Golden Compass, but I feel like other than those, I'm out. Can you guys recommend something fantasy lite (heavy on the lite) to ease me in?
Other than that, I'm excited to see my BFF next month. Granted, we haven't actually booked the flight since Dan was sick all week and not at work, but fingers crossed, we'll have a countdown by next week.
