Okay. I don't know what the hell Curtis did, but it pissed off Diaz, so I'm 100% behind it. Lol.
So, Oliver and Laurel go on the news to talk about how they used to be vigilantes, but now they are helping from the inside. But, after the interview, the journalist ends up getting kidnapped, but someone who wants everyone to know the Queen family is awful. And because he used a particular turn of phrase, Oliver has an idea of who it might be.
He gets Felicity to dig up some reports and, along with the crime scene photos, is able to figure out that the guy is the son of his father's body guard. You know, the one he shot and killed on the life raft so Oliver could live. He knows the truth (which Oliver has been concealing from everyone) and wants Oliver to pay.
Because he's some kind of smart electrical guy, he rigs up the SCPD building to send the power to some vest he's wearing. Then, he attaches some officers to it, so that he can electrocute them at will. He starts screaming about how he wants Oliver and he's going to start killing people if Oliver doesn't come out.
Oliver is just in the next room with Dinah. He sends her out to deal with the electrical box and he heads over to Hackett (I cannot remember his first name- he used two). Oliver sincerely apologizes to him for what happened, and Hackett laughs in his face. He wants Oliver dead. He tells all the officers that he'll kill one cop a minute, until someone kills Oliver. And, just as the first cop refuses to shoot and he's about to electrocute someone, Dinah fixes the power which allows Oliver to capture Hackett.
Meanwhile, over at ARGUS, Curtis is very much against the Suicide Squad and does not want to help. He's just supposed to be checking something (I don't know what), but something goes wrong and all the villains are free. Diaz uses Curtis as a human shield until he's out of the building. He then breaks Curtis's neck, leaving him for dead. I was so shocked. I 100% bought this. A lot of times when people 'die' I don't believe it. I really did here. And they fooled me. Me!
Turns out, Curtis ran some kind of VR scene that allowed them to get some information that was in Diaz's head. (I think?) I'm not really sure. But, I know Diaz was pissed. So I'm happy. Also, Curtis really wants off this project, and I don't blame him.
While this is happening, Laurel is being stalked by someone from Earth-2 that she killed. (Justifiably, I say). But, this is the Earth-1 version of him. (Again, I think?) She goes to Felicity for help, who goes to Cisco, and they find out he's definitely dead on Earth-2. And Dinah just sent him to jail on this earth, so we should be good. Or not. Because at the end of the episode, Dinah gets a threatening note just like the ones that were being sent to Laurel. It claims that someone is going to be killing off all the vigilantes one by one.
Oh, and Oliver goes back on the news to tell the truth about what happened on the life raft. And, because if it, he's made a little headway with Emiko. She's not ready to talk to him yet, but she's thinking about it.
