Welcome to this very special episode of Ask a Mortician where Caitlin Asks a Mortician!
OK, seriously, are you not impressed by Monica? Your girl is highly skilled, passionate about her work, and knows her way around a skull like nobody's business. We bow before your blue-gloved hand, queen.
I love videos where I get to learn on the job. For the record, I'm not just pretending to fumble with the hair dye (sorry Debbie) or play dumb about the skull reshaping tool. That's pure unscripted Caitlin. I'm getting educated right along with you, deathlings.
What I hope you can take away from this video is that there's room for all of us in this great big death world. While Monica and I might seem like odd bedfellows (casket-fellows?) at first, we share similar goals: educating folks on their choices and getting people involved in caring for their dead.
We are the (death) world! We are the (death) children! We are the ones who make a brighter death, so let's start being more death positive and more inclusive!
