How's it going with you in this month of DARKNESS? What are you reading and watching in 2019, WITHOUT ME? Anything noteworthy? I still have two weeks without social media I need your best of January 2019 picks.
We are hard at work at the Order, creating all the content and laying all the plans, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't wake up on Friday mornings panicked that I HAVEN'T POSTED THE VIDEO YET. It's weird. But it's good weird.
If you really are missing me (I miss you death crumpet) here are a couple of ways that you can get your "Caitlin Fix" this month.
First of all there's this playlist of Ask a Mortician's "greatest hits" that you can binge or turn on in the background while you do some housecleaning or write your death plan. This playlist of 25 videos was handpicked by the AAM team for your viewing pleasure.
Second, in case you missed it, I'm going to be collaborating on an online event with sexpert Conner Habib and theologian Peter Rollins. It's called GOD SEX DEATH and in it we'll be tackling the big questions about well, God, sex, and death.
Here's a video of Conner and Peter talking "The State of Philosophy" from Conner's YouTube channel. It's good stuff, check it out.
In a snazzy change of roles, I will be talking about sex (from a death-based perspective, of course!), Conner will talk God, and Peter will talk death. Then we'll have a Q&A where you can ask us your own big questions! You got GOD SEX DEATH questions? We got GOD SEX DEATH answers.
This event is a fundraiser for Conner who is starting a PhD in Anthropology in Ireland later this month, and needs some help with the fees. So not only do you get to unlock the secrets of the universe with us, you also get to contribute to a good cause and support a longtime friend of The Order.
But, okay, we also just want as many of you there as possible! Please don't make me talk about sex to the Internet ALONE.
All tickets get you access to the course and 90 days access to a recording of the course (so no need to worry if you can't attend the day of!).
