From the research to the writing to the filming to the endless editing, this was definitely not one of those light-hearted, "chock-full-of-bloopers" video shoots. And you all know how I love a good blooper.
We worked on this video for a long time. Candidly, we sometimes had to walk away from it for a bit. That's why we took this extra week to make sure we got everything right.
So thank you Patrons for allowing us to create a video like this. While I love doing videos on bonkers things like the Cadaver Synod or #BenthamsHead, it's the ground level stuff and the explorations into the grim parts of our history that make me really proud of our little death channel.
It feels weird to say that I hope you ENJOY this video, but I do hope that it makes you think about the extreme loss of life we've inflicted upon each other in the past.
And after you've let it sink in, go cleanse your palate with one of those "Worth It" videos about LA's best french fries or something. I could go for some french fries right now, to be honest.
