I don't know. For the penultimate episode of this show, I was expecting more. It didn't really leave me with high hopes for the finale.
So Kevin and V immediately sell their house to a developers (which sort of pisses off Lip, as he's been busting his ass to renovate the house so he can sell it) who are just gonna tear it down. Lip calls over there and they tell him they are looking for 3 houses in a row, and Lip's makes three. They offer him 200K sight unseen. Lip counters and when they get to 275K, the agent claims she has to check with her boss. But, in the meantime, the people on the other side of Kevin and V sell for 200, so they no longer want to buy the house. Dude, Tami is so not gonna be happy when she finds out. So was not thrilled when she heard Lip turned down the initial offer.
After he talks to the agent (but before she tells him she no longer wants to buy the house) Lip spends the day basically selling everything in the house since none of if will be needed when the house gets knocked down. Of course, now that they aren't selling, there is nothing in the house.
Mickey is really struggling with living on the West Side. It's too quiet, and clean, and safe. He hates the people. He hates the rules. He hates the fact that their apartment didn't come with furniture. He's been sleeping at the Gallagher house while Ian's been at the new apartment. Eventually, it all comes to a head and Mickey loses his temper (trying to steal chairs and throw them in the pool and flip a table). Ian tells him if he's really unhappy there, they can move back home. But Mickey agrees to try again as long as he doesn't have to change himself (and can pee in the pool).
Debbie is convinced no one will ever love her and hates the idea if she and Franny living alone. Eventually, she gets Frank (of all people) to give her some advice (after she beats him up in the bar for fucking up her life). She's a loser. So she needs to find an even bigger loser to love so they won't leave her. Shortly thereafter, Debbie is accosted on the street by a girl with a gun who is running from the cops and using Debbie to hide. They end up at a park trading stories about how fucked up their lives are. I guess Debbie will be married to her by next episode.
And Liam feels bad for Frank in his declining mental state, so he decides to take him out for a day of fun. So, they scam people and go to the bar (where Frank realizes he can't tolerate alcohol anymore). By the end of the day, Frank's forgotten all of it though. But Liam promises they can do it again the next day. After a quick conversation with Lip about hiding gold in the backyard when he was ten, Frank goes upstairs.
When he comes back down he's alone. But, he's written a letter to the family and processes to shoot himself up with heroin. Are we supposed to assume he's killing himself? Because that's 100% what I think.
