I don't know. I'm definitely just ready for this to end. It doesn't really seem like it's building up to much beside the show ending. Maybe Frank will die in the final episode that this will be what we've been waiting for for 11 seasons. I don't know.
Lip finds out that he can't get the gas turned back on because of multiple leaks and it's going to cost a couple thousand dollars to fix. Debbie could probably do it, but she's refusing to help, still upset that Lip is selling the house. Then, Lip ends up selling a motorcycle for less than half of what he planned on. He and Tami don't really have anywhere to live, nor does he have a job or any money. Things aren't great for him right now.
Ian and Mickey decide to go check out an apartment on the West Side for shits and giggles. Mostly because Mickey wants to swim in the heated pool, but also it's cheap, so why not? Turns out, Ian really likes it. Mickey refuses to move to the West Side (especially after a can of beer cost him $4 and he almost got ran over by several joggers), but Ian decided to sign the lease anyway.
Debbie is looking for a place for her and Franny as well, but she hates that she seems so isolated everywhere. She enjoys the chaos and community from living with a bunch of people. So, she tries to rent a room in a house with a zillion people, but they tell her the room is actually in the backyard over the garage, which is not what she wanted. So they don't end up with anything.
Liam has decided to take care of Frank. His dementia has gotten pretty bad fairly quickly. He really has no idea what is going on from one moment to the next. However, in moments of lucidity, he claims he had a good life, as he lived it exactly the way he wanted to. This seem to prompt him to get do not resuscitate tattooed on him.
It looks like Kevin and V might actually move to Louisville. Kevin accidentally gets an afternoon bartending shift and realized he made more money in one afternoon than they do all week at the Alibi. And V thinks she may have gotten a job on a congressional campaign (this better not actually be a thing- one of my least favorite tropes in TV is that as the show progresses, the characters end up being able to buy, have, accomplish things that they absolutely could not have done- V cannot get this job). But regardless, they both seem like they are at least considering this heavily.
I don't know what is going on with Carl. I mean, I know he's working eviction, and is trying to advocate for the poor, but we don't spend much time talking about what he's going to do when we all leave.
At the end of the episode, Mickey and Ian come back to the house. Mickey is pissed that Ian signed the lease without him, and Lip is pissed about how shitty his day was. And the two of them end up in a fist fight. And the fact that Ian told Lip if he hits his husband again, he'll kill him, was delightful. I love Mickey and Ian. I will die on this hill.
