This is what what I thought I was getting to the lead up to the season finale, but it was so good!
So, Wyatt's back. However, it turns out, he doesn't actually have a place to stay. Nor is he enrolled in school right now. He thought he had a place, but ended up needed to stay in his car. Until it got towed, at least. It seems obvious that he wants to get back together with Callie, and she doesn't seem opposed.
Who does seem opposed, though, is Brandon. He's jealous from the second he sees that he's back. And, it doesn't help that he's got Dani (yes, I learned her name so she'll be gone next season) yammering in his ear about how he should put it all out on the line and just go for it with Callie. There is no reason why they shouldn't be dating, and she leaves him an empty house to talk or....whatever. Girl. You're a grown ass adult. You shouldn't be encouraging this. I know I'm encouraging it, but this isn't real!
Vico is finally ready to get revenge on Brandon. And he's doing via Callie. So, Callie has been named to the dance queen court thing. She originally asks for for nomination to be withdrawn as she knows it's just kids messing with her. But Lena reminds her that her principal didn't give her PO a glowing recommendation since she's not active in school activities, so she decides to go for that reason alone.
While at the dance, a bunch of kids are getting drunk in the bathroom. And they are toasting Callie for it. You'll remember Victo made a fake id in her name.
At the dance, Brandon asks Callie to dance at the request of Lena, but after a minute, Callie pulls him aside to talk. And Brandon ends up telling Callie that he still loves her and that they can be together. Callie visibly recoils at this. She tells him she's getting adopted Monday and she needs a family, not this from Brandon and he needs to get over her. When he asks how, she tells him that she slept with Wyatt. That seems to do the trick and Brandon heads off.
Turns out, Callie wins queen and gives a decent speech. But while she giving it, the principal gets told by Talya that there are drunk girls in the bathroom. And they tell her that Callie supplied the booze. They claim that Callie said if they voted for her, she'd get them drunk.
While this is happening, Brandon gets the truth from Vico, who did it just to fuck Brandon over because he's pissed Brandon didn't wanna do the fake ID think anymore.
Callie is pulled into a room with Lena, Stef, the principal, and a police officer. Both Lena and Stef are on her side until they pull a fake ID out of her purse. She swears she's being set up, but she has no proof. Until Brandon barges in and tells them he's the one who set her up. He was upset that she didn't love him back and tried to get her put back into juvie. He knew all kinds of stuff that only the guilty party would no, so they believe him. And Stef tells the officer in the room to arrest him. As he's getting put in the car, Callie runs out and tells him she lied about Wyatt.
He ends up finally telling the whole truth to Stef and Mike. Including how he used Mike's piano money to pay off Ana to change her story. This is going to get very messy, I'd imagine.
Meanwhile, Zac's mom shows up to chaperone. Things are kind of okay in the beginning, but she quickly goes off the rails. Telling Zac that she knows he's screwing the whore. She runs away. Eventually, he and Mariana find her and she doesn't even know who Zac is. This woman needs a doctor so badly. But it seems like it's just she and Zac at home. Hopefully, Mariana can get her moms over there to lend a hand.
I don't know what happens now. I don't know how much trouble Brandon is in, but it seems like it could be a lot. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this season ends.
