What a tremendous reaction to a great episode! Possibly the best episode so far.
The interpersonal relationships/friendships on this show is just superb. I love the human aspect of this show, if that's even something you can say.
The dynamic Bryce brings is super interesting and despite it being an obvious roadblock for Chuck and Sarah it's an important one for them to tackle. Sarah obviously struggles with both understanding her own feelings and conveying them to others, but it makes a lot of sense considering who they've built her character up to be.
Sarah and Bryce together in the store during that fight scene was just awesome. It's great to see how well they clearly functioned together as spies.
I love how the final scene shows Bryce calling her on the old phone, representing the past, while Chuck calls her on the smart phone representing the future. Meanwhile the lyrics say: "No one's gonna love you more than I do". Just before that, while the show pans to show Bryce, the lyrics go: "You're the everliving ghost of what once was".
There is an insane amount of detail put into scenes like these, and this is neither the first nor the last time that song lyrics are used to perfectly encapsulate the meaning of a scene.
This is probably my favorite episode of season 1, but it's close to a few others.
Also, sweet potatoes with marshmallows sound quite sickening if i'm honest. I'm Norwegian, so that's not something I think i've ever heard of outside of this show.
Anyway, awesome reaction as always. Can't wait for more!

I was shocked when I just realized that the actor that plays Chuck (Zachary Levi) played Kurt Warner in the movie American Underdog (which was a really good movie). And I will keep watching in case Bryce Larkin comes back...hint, hint.
