The Vampire Diaries 4X3: The Rager

I'm so ready for these guys to be out of school. It feels like they should have graduated, like, two seasons ago.

Anyway, vampire hunter is busy trying to fuck shit up. Turns out, that tattoo he's got is only visible to hunter and future hunters. How in the world can Jeremy being a future hunter? He's all cuddled up with the vampires? But, I suppose, technically, Alaric was a hunter too, and he spent half his time fighting with and protecting Damon and Stefan. Still feels weird though.

So, Jeremy pretends to work with him, but really, he leads him into a trap for Damon and Klaus. They are trying to ask him about the pastor and what his note means. But, he won't talk. Then, Klaus realizes he's one of the five (whatever that means). Then, the room blows up, but Klaus has saved him at the last possible moment, because he's one of these five. And apparently, he's more important to Klaus alive, than dead.

And speaking of said hunter, he attacked Tyler in the hospital room to extract his werewolf venom. He then, spiked Rebekah's booze at her party with it, causing both she and Elena to have some hallucinatory effects. Elena is making out with Stefan, but he turns into Damon and tells her it's because she's more like him as a vampire than Stefan.

Elena, meanwhile, is struggling with her rage. She wants nothing more than to kill Rebekah. Damon gives her the white oak stake and she's about to do it, but Stefan talks her out of it. Instead, he takes her on a motorcycle ride so she can feel joy. Okay. But he's concerned he can't feel joy or he'll turn back into The Ripper. I so do not buy this. He's been joyful plenty of times. But whatever. Also, it's too much like a certain plot line from another vampire show.

And then we've got Elena dealing with the fact that she's not eating enough. She's only drinking a little bit from Matt because she's afraid that if she takes more, she won't be able to stop. We really need to figure his out for her. But it seems like Damon is on the case. Near the end of the episode, she's drinking from Matt and losing control, nearly draining him. Thankfully, Damon shows up and stops her. He compels Matt to forget and talks Elena into letting him teach her how to be a vampire, and she accepts. Yes! This is the storyline I'm excited about. Not Stefan and his fake lack of joy

Oh, and some werewolf shows up at Tyler's. Apparently, he spent some time with her pack and she helped him break his sire bond. But, something else happened between them as well. I'm guessing they had sex. And Klaus seems to know this. I'm assuming he's going to use it as blackmail with Caroline. Who is like, the sweetest person alive and I hate this for her.
