High School Musical: The Musical: The Series 1X7: Thanksgiving

OMG. Carlos. How long did it take you to make this game? And the fact that you've never had anyone to play it with before now is sad.

So Ricky tries to take his dad advice and calls his mom. However, her boyfriend answers, which is so not what he was expecting (or wanting). He tries to put it out of his head and go to the after Thanksgiving party, but it's really weighing on him.

At the party, Nini runs into Ricky first and it seems like maybe she wants to try to reconnect, but then gets interrupted when she realizes he came with Gina. But, she does try to make an effort with Gina, so that's something.

And speaking of Gina, she's so happy to be here. It's like she's waited her whole life to get friends (and honestly, I don't think that is much of an exaggeration). So of course, we have to rip it away from her. When the party turns into a sleepover for girls, she calls her mom to ask permission (and gloat about winning Carlos' game), but mom drops the bomb that they have to move again. Sad. She rushes out with Ricky following close behind. I'm starting to think this is the ship you guys are excited about.

During the party Ashlyn and Red Head have been getting closer. And we also learn that Ashlyn is super diverse (Co-captain of the robotics team? Do you have any sway with cranky pants teacher?) I don't like it though. I think Ashlyn is way too good for him. He's annoying at best.

E.J. is busy telling Instagram everything he's ever done wrong in his life. His conscious feels good about it, but his follower count, not so much. He's losing hundreds of followers do to his confessions.

And Miss Jenn and robotics teacher sort of hit it off. They both lied about their Thanksgiving plans (either that they had them at all or how great they were going to be) and both end up working. They each help each other through a problem (but you cannot convince me that physics guy doesn't know about the center of gravity, even I know about it) and end up watching a movie and falling asleep on the couch. Does that mean it's over for Ricky's dad?
