High School Musical: The Musical: The Series 1X3: The Wonderstudies

Okay, so E.J.'s got the phone and instead of checking the texts, which was the whole point, he instead, listens to Ricky's voicemail. And then, he makes matters worse by not returning the damn thing. He just dumped it in the lost and found, which meant Nini spent half the night looking for it, and then ended up being late for rehearsal since she didn't get the text about the time change. Seriously. E.J. You knew she didn't have a phone. You couldn't have just dropped this info to her somehow?

Anyway, Nini gets there late (due to the aforementioned missing phone), and finds out that Gina has choreographed a whole damn dance (which looks difficult AF). At this point, Nini is coming to the conclusion that Gina probably stole her phone, and, in a fit of rage, steals her sneakers and then her water bottle. Later, Kourtney reveals she stole a bunch of her stuff too.

E.J. decides he wants to come clean about his involvement in #phonegate, so he asks Ashlyn to help him write a song for Nini. She doesn't really have time, but offers him some music she's not using so he can write some lyrics to it. And it's awful. I mean hysterically bad. I was so pleased when Ashlyn didn't like it either, as I was afraid I was just being a hater. Lol.

Later, Ricky walks into the bathroom while E.J. is already in there, and E.J. tells him to stop leaving thirsty voicemails for Nini. They are no longer together. Ricky, who is hurt that Nini would play his message for E.J., confronts her about it. She then realizes she never got a voicemail and the person who stole her phone was probably E.J.

For whatever reason, the one teacher (whose name I have no idea), seems to hate the drama teacher. I mean, okay, she's fairly annoying and over the top and dramatic, but you hardly know her. And don't really have to interact with her at all. Plus, she teaches drama, not chemistry.

(I've already watched the following episode, so I'm hoping that I didn't mix any of that into here. I really need to do this descriptions before I watch ahead. 😳)
