How were remains historically disposed of in very cold places, like Finland or above the Arctic circle? Burial would have been difficult in extremely cold climates. Love your videos. Keep up the good work!

2015-04-25 18:37:52 +0000 UTCWonderful. I'm fine with some historical interludes, and teaming up with Dr. Fizharris is a solid idea. :) On a side note, several years back I was a city councilor. We have a large attractive pond in the center of town and the discussion was how to make it a better attraction for the city. Well... Right against the pond is a wonderful, sunny grass field perfect for picnicking, a playground, a gazebo, etc. However... It is a cemetery. So I brought of the idea of disinterring the bodies and moving the cemetery. Well, the only response I got was a table full of people turning in their seats, and looking at me with an expression of 'What the hell are you saying?!? And who invited this lunatic to the meeting?!?' Needless to say, the stones are still there. It would make a damn fine park though. :)
