Arrow 6X16: The Thanatos Guild

Ugh. I so did not love this episode. I think I'm just basically done with The League. It's had it's time, let's move on. That said, I do kind of like Nyssa, so I wouldn't mind if she stuck around. Plus, what is with Thea being all like, 'Maybe being Speedy is the thing I've been searching for.' Honey, you went searching because you didn't like the person you were. I mean part of it was politics, but another big part was Speedy. Why do you think Speedy is what's going to fix you? But, either way, if we've got Roy back (I mean they both left, but he's sort of still 'back' right?) I'll deal. Lol.

So, long story short, there's some kind of map that Malcolm left for Thea. But, when he left it, he knew she wasn't ready yet to go back to being superhero Thea. So, he hid it in a puzzle box until she might be ready. But Athena (his, like, second in command) seems tired of waiting and has found Thea so she can get the map.

Thea wants no part of this. She's 100% ready to just jet off into the sunset with Roy. But she agrees to help Nyssa find the map. They do, but it's locked in a crypto box that we need math to open. Felicity (THE ACTUAL WIFE) to the rescue. She figure out the code, but has Thea open it. And of course, the map is blank. But that's pretty normal for us. We've used head before to make invisible ink show up. But this time it's not working.

It turns out, what we actually need is Thea's blood. Later, when she's fighting with Athena, she gets her face sliced and her blood drips on the map revealing the contents. And it turns out, Malcolm found 3 more Lazarus pits. It seems like Nyssa (with the help of Thea and Roy) wants to destroy them, but Athena wants to find them. It was sweet that Roy is willing to jump back into this fight just to be with Thea, but I just want both of them out. I know, six seasons ago, I was lobbying hard for them to get in, but now, I just want everyone to find some damn peace.

Dinah and Curtis are busy trying to figure out which cops on the force are dirty (spoiler alert: too many). After initially clearing her, Dinah later realizes that the chief (captain?) is also on Diaz's payroll. She and Curtis figure out that she and Diaz are dealing Vertigo (this is the one drug that won't die).

Also, Curtis asks out one of the cops. He says yes, and seems sweet about it, but I'm concerned he's gonna end up dirty. I feel like we've seen this story before. Especially in an episode where the past has been coming back to haunt us.
