I know the comment is 11 months old, but I saw Matt Bomer talk about how he “lost his accent” while on Ellen. He said he got some job on phones early in his career, which if Im not entirely mistaken (I havent watched it since it was on the air and yes I just outed myself as a guilty pleasure ellen fan lol but I think im not totally wrong ) He said you really just slowly lost it the more you kinda focused on annunciation and trying to get that general midwestern sound. Idk but He said how you wouldnt really know it now but yea, he is a texas boy! One could argue though, that signature Neil Caffery sound couldnt have been possible without good ol’ Texas……. :)
