The Vampire Diaries 3X14: Dangerous Liaisons

You guys. My shipping of Damon and Elena is growing by the episode. Here we see glimpses of the old Stefan, but that didn't stop me from being pissed when Damon had sex with Rebekah. I want him having sex with Elena! Ugh. If only their chemistry wasn't so good, and if Damon and Stefan hadn't switched roles, I might not be feeling like this.

Anyway, Ester is having a ball and has invited Elena, claiming they need to speak. Klaus has invited Caroline (I KNEW he had a thing for her). And Rebekah invited Matt, seemingly, to piss off Elena and Caroline, but it turns out, she actually seems to like him.

Elena is determined to speak to Ester alone at the ball. But Damon, overly concerned with her safety, forbids it. So, she makes a plan with Stefan to incapacitate Damon, so she's free to go.

When she meets with her she finds out that Ester doesn't really want her family back together. She sees them all as abominations of her own creation and wants to kill them all. Since Klaus can't be killed, she links them all with Elena's blood and claims killing one of her kids will kill them all.

Afterwards, Elena lies to Elijah and tells him that her mom really wants to just be a family and all is forgiven with Klaus. But, Finn (I think it was Finn) knows that they are all going to die and is totally cool with this; allowing his blood to bind and solidify the spell. Odd.

Meanwhile, Rebekah and Kol decide it'd be fun to kill Matt, so they make a plan to do it. But then, Matt is nice to Rebekah and she backs out. Seems like Kol is still in on it though. Damon happens to oversee this and saves Matt, but makes a spectacle of himself. Oh, did I not mention earlier that Elena told him that the fact that he loves her is the problem? He affirms this afterward and leaves.

Hurt and upset, he runs into Rebehak (who is also hurt and upset about being rejected by Matt) and the two of them have sex. I'm so not happy about it. I wonder how Damon is gonna feel afterwards.

You guys. Am I an unpopular opinion that I'm shipping Elena with Damon? You can tell me. I can handle it.
