Prison Break 2X1: Manhunt

So, I don't really think I needed to be worried about S2. It's started off so incredibly well.

We've got this FBI who actually seems smart. This is not going to bode well for our friends. Yes, I realize some of them deserve to be in jail, but short of Pocket Boy, I'm rooting for them over the cops.

Anyway, the FBI plus to cops, are busy trying to track down the convicts. They are doing a pretty good job, only a smidge behind, but then a freight train comes and they are able to get to the other side and build up a decent lead.

They run into a hunter and steal his car. They are heading to a storage locker where Michael has provisions for them. However, the police get copies of his credit cards bills and also head the storage locker. At this point, I was pissed. There is no way Michael would be stupid enough to pay for things with credit cards that leave a paper trail. And of course, he's not. The cops end up at an empty locker, while they boys pull shovels out of a different one.

At the cemetery, they dig up a grave and inside are a changes of clothing, so they don't look like convicts. Michael also has an extra bag for him and Lincoln that has passports, money, burner phones, and the keys to a car that's just up the road. With the change of clothes, it looks like we are blending in with the people in the city.

Meanwhile, Pocket Boy stole a cooler from some campers and has been carrying his hacked off hand around in it. Eventually, he gets to a vet's office and threatens the doctor if he doesn't sew his hand back on. The doctor claims he can't do it, he needs much more specialized equipment, but Pocket Boy insists. He also refuses to be put out for the surgery, so it's gonna hurt like a bitch. I hope we actually get to see this next episode. I want to watch that asshole in pain.

At the hospital, Tancredi has finally woken up. She's visited by her nurse friend and admits to her that she's probably in a lot of trouble. But she's assured, she's not the first person to fall for a con. Then, she says it was all just a lie. However, later, she finds one of Michael's folded up swans in her bag, with a message that he's going to make it up to her. (Or something like that).

And then we've got Veronica. Poor Veronica. She finds out that Terrence is basically being held captive in this house. There is no way out, which she quickly realizes for herself. However, he claims there is also no cell service, but she's able to call the police for assistance. However, as soon as they show up, Lincoln calls her on one of the burner phones to tell her he's out. She tells him to turn himself back in because she's with Terrence Steadman and he's alive and now Lincoln will have to be exonerated.

But, unfortunately, the 'cops' that show up are really the company and Lincoln gets the pleasure of listening to them shoot and kill her over the phone.

Fuck. I hope this whole season is just them on the run.
