The Vampire Diaries 3X11: Our Town

Um, I have no idea what Klaus wants from Caroline? Does he like her? Info on the rest of the group? (She's kind of the weakest link- in the sweetest possible way). Getting to her mom? (I mean, this is actually it, but it doesn't seem like a big enough deal for him to save her). Does his blood make her more prone to doing his bidding, like Tyler?

But anyway, after Stefan approaches Klaus and tells him to get rid of his hybrids (and killing one in the process), Klaus retaliates by telling Tyler to bite Caroline. A bite from a hybrid will kill her, but that seems to be what Klaus wanted. Initially, Tyler refuses, and Klaus is all, 'cool.' But you know it's not cool.

Afterwards, he shows up at Caroline death party and tells her he can totally be with her and not following whatever orders Klaus gives them. They kiss a little in reconciliation, but then he bites her! And honestly, I think he's as surprised that he did it as she is. Okay, that's not true. She's SHOCKED. He's more like 'What did I do? How did this happen?'

Either way, Matt brings her home and tells Liz what happens. Then, Klaus shows up and says he can heal her with his blood if Liz just lets him in. All he wants in return is for her to side with him over Stefan. She agrees and he feeds Caroline his blood. She's completed healed the next morning. And, Klaus left her a bracelet surprise.

While this is happening, Stefan decides that he needs to show Klaus he is serious. So he 'kidnaps' Elena threatens to kill her. Klaus claims he loves her too much for her to die, so Stefan feeds her his blood so if she does die, she'll become a vampire and useless to Klaus anyway. They are speeding towards the bridge to Stefan can drive them over, when Klaus finally relents and agrees to get rid of the hybrids.

And Elena is pissed. But not only pissed, she's hurt. Like right to her core that Stefan would do this to her. But he tells her that all he really cares about now is destroying Klaus.

At the end, Alaric's doctor's prom date (yes, that's a clause I typed) ends up dead in the woods. He was on the council as the ME. However, he was killed in the woods with a stake in his heart. Someone obviously wanted to send a message. I guess we're supposed to think it was the doctor since he told Alaric that she was psycho. But who knows anymore?

Plus, Elena tells Damon that they can't kiss again. Which, is disappointing (especially with how happy it made Damon- didn't have quite the same effect on Elena, though). But he says they will again, but now is not the time.

Could it be, though? So much awful shit is going on now. Can we just a little bit of happiness for me? I don't ask for much.
