9-1-1 8X1: Buzzkill

So, we've finally made it to the bees! Hulu had bees all over the damn place back when S8 started and I knew they were coming.

Well a truck with 22 million killer bees has crashed causing all sorts of chaos. But, the worst of it is coming from inside the 118 and having to deal with Gerard. Fucking Gerard. I swear, I really hope he's dead. Fucking just be a normal human being, asshole!

Gerard is busy screaming at everyone and picking on Buck (even though Buck is doing things and coming up with ideas to literally SAVE people). Nothing anyone does is good enough. Well, good enough for him to take credit for, but not good enough to not scream at his team about it. 🙄 Let's see what happens now that Buck has saved him from a saw blade, but potentially killed him. (Dude, please be dead).Please, Bobby. We need you.

And speaking of Bobby, he's off on a movie set (this is where LAFD sent him?) consulting on a firefighting movie. He tries to make it as realistic as possible, but it doesn't seem like they really want that much of his help.

While all this is going on, Athena has been summoned to transfer the guy who killed Emmett. Apparently, he's getting released early and he insisted that Athena be he one to escort him. He claims that he wanted her to hear it from him. But also, he's convinced someone is trying to kill him and he trusts Athena to save him. Turns out, he's right. As she driving him to the airport, she gets pulled over by a fake cop who tries to leave with Dennis. But, Athena pulls her gun and locks the fake cop in his trunk and just heads to the airport.

When the plane begins it's departure, Athena gets up to make sure that LAPD will meet them at the gate when they land. However, as soon as she gets to the front of the plane, we are hit by another plane that is completely covered in bees, rendering it's pilot unable to fly.

In other, much sadder news, Eddie tries to throw a Zoom birthday for Christopher with Buck and Tommy, but Christopher doesn't really care. I guess he's still upset with Eddie. Ugh. This kills me. Eddie loves that kid so damn much.
