The Vampire Diaries 3X7: Ghost World

This was my least favorite episode this season. And it was still better than a lot of things I've seen. So, that's saying something.

So at the end of the last episode, someone showed up and I knew I was supposed to know who he was, but I didn't. Turns out, it was Mason. And I didn't put it together, because, oh yeah, Mason's dead.

Apparently, when Bonnie brought Jeremy back, she opened the door to the other side, so anyone with unfinished business was able to come back over. So, all the dead beings show back up. The tomb vampires are here, Anna, her mom, grams, Lexi, Mason and countless others, I'm sure. Damon figures out pretty quickly what is going on and heads over to tell Bonnie to fix it.

Some of these ghosts are helpful, Mason is claiming he knows a way to kill Klaus (but won't help until he gets an apology from Damon) and Lexi is determined to bring Stefan's humanity back. But, most of the other ghosts are just excited to enact revenge on the founding families.

By this point, the ghosts are able to actually touch, interact, and be seen by the rest of the world. Elena walks in on Jeremy kisses Anna and the tomb vampires are attacking Mrs. Lockwood.

Bonnie needs to close the door to send all the ghosts back to the other side. However, Lexi is working on restoring Stefan's humanity so Elena asks her to hold off. Bonnie is able to give her a little bit of extra time, but chaos is ensuing and we need to shut this door. Lexi tells Elena what she can do to help, and then disappears along with the other ghosts.

Mason, meanwhile, is in the middle of trying to show Damon something in the tunnels, but for whatever reason, Damon can't get in. While he's about to explain what he sees, he disappears. Damon calls Alaric to finish the job and after telling him he's the only person he trusts other than Elena, they sort of make up. It looks like the walls of the tunnel are covered in some sort of hieroglyphics, but he has no idea what they mean.

Anna ends up finding her mom and they disappear together.

Bonnie and Jeremy end up in a fight about him and Anna. He tries to apologize/explain, but she doesn't wanna hear it and tells him to leave.

Elena leaves Stefan in the cell. He asks if she's finally given up hope, and she says she hasn't, but she can't do much until he finds his.

I'm not sure I'm ready to leave evil Stefan behind. I hope we get at least a few more episodes out of him before we get regular Stefan back.
