Ugh. It so does not seem as though Felicity and Oliver will be getting back together before this season is over. Boo.
So, Helix kills an ARGUS agent (theoretically on accident) in order to free the founder of their organization who's been held by ARGUS without due process. Felicity wants nothing to do with this until she's told that he's got tech that can help her find Chase. After that, she's all in; despite the protests from Oliver and the rest of the team.
Lyla, meanwhile, is lying to the rest of Team Arrow about James. She knows that he's not at the facility that Helix is planning to break him out of. But, it turns out, Helix knows that too. They manage to capture him. But, Oliver shows up before they can all escape. Felicity tells the others to go and she'll handle Oliver. She ends up trapping him in a forcefield telling him that Curtis will let him out, but she needs to go. Also, she says she's hopes he'll forgive her, but he says it doesn't seem likely.
But, Felicity does manage to get the thumb drive (?) after she goes back to Helix and they tell her she's too much of a liability to continue with them. She brings it back to the Arrow cave and Oliver sort of apologizes. He seems pretty receptive when the tech locates Chase. But, it turns out, Chase is in the cave. And the monitors end up blowing up and ending the episode.
In other news, Quintin gets Rene's daughter to visit him. While it turned out okay, I'd be so fucking pissed at Quintin if this was real life. You don't fuck with people's families. Even if you are right (or think you know best). I mean, it seemed like it worked out okay, but I hated Lance for doing this.
