I'm Back.

Hello, hello. We've finally returned. And I feel so much better. You guys, I didn't realize how utterly exhausted and run down I was until I actually feel rested now.

We had a lovely time. Spent a few days with my family. My mom and her boyfriend are so amazing and generous. It just calms me just to be around her. Most of my family is not nearby, and I really miss them.

Then, we headed over to Jacksonville to watch the Jets/Jacksonville game with our friends. While, Jacksonville definitely left something to be desired (although, to be honest, we were only there for two days and stayed right by the stadium), the trip was great. (Even though the toilet cracked and the room flooded in the middle of the night). Our friends are awesome. Jacksonville has great fans. We had excellent seats (that were super cheap, because Jacksonville is as terrible as we are) and we won!

We ate a lovely meal (that I will never, ever eat again- the amount of budgeting I needed to do to pay for it is stupid), had drinks with friends, and I feel like a zillion dollars.

Now, onto the future. I simply cannot keep up this pace. Especially since I'm going to need to pick something up part time as I'm just not making enough money. Bills are gonna bill.

So, my proposal (right now anyway, but I'm open to suggestions) is that I start putting out less content per week. Right now I'm doing something like, 22 or 23 episodes a week. And guys, it's just too much. I need to cut this basically in half. Especially if I'm going to try to find something part time.

And, less content, means less per subscription. Right now, I'm thinking something along the lines of:

This is my rough idea. But, again, I'm totally open to suggestions. I'd like to start this as soon as possible though, because my schedule has not been consistent (and probably won't be for a lot of the rest of the year; as you might imagine, the end of December is busy!) and I don't like the idea that you guys are paying the same amount for inconsistent content. I'm going to work on a calendar after I finish this so you can have a rough idea of how the rest of the month will look. Ideally, we start this at the beginning of January, but I want to see if a bunch of you are opposed to this. (Or, have a better ideas).

Also, this means I'll have time to do more drunk re-watches (I have been super lax on them as of late), and I do want to also do some movies occasionally. I'm hoping that this will actually provide me the time to do them. (And, you know, clean my house, and maybe take a walk, and generally try to be a normal- or as normal as I can be- human).

I also want to tell you guys that while I was away, I kept having dreams that I watched the shows without filming them. And then I'd wake up sick, trying to figure out how to explain to you guys what I did. I did this almost every night we were away. 😳 (I didn't actually watch anything. Well that's not true, I watched The Bob's Burgers Movie, and Nobody Wants This on the plane. Nobody Wants This was really good. I tried to watch Midnight Sun, but it was so awful I had to turn it off).

If the changes here make you feel like you need to cancel, please, please do so. I never want you guys to pay for a subscription because you feel guilty not paying for it. We're all just trying to survive out here. You have to do whatever is best for you. ❤️

I am planning on this with some other shows as they end, but Wildfire is a sponsored show and the next show has already been paid for. So, excellent idea, just not with this particular show.

This is a good idea. Maybe I'll add an additional tier in the new year to see if anyone would be interested. Thank you!

100% agree she should just cut back and not add a whole new show to the lineup and just add more to her workload and just finish the ones that she has left.

When Wildfire ends, don't take on new series but finish the ones you have. That way you won't put on even more work.

It’s totally fine for you to do whatever is best for you! Just an idea (please ignore it if it would add too much work to your plate!) but you could see if there are any subscribers who would be interested in maybe sponsoring an already sponsored show or even sponsoring a show you are watching for the lower tiers. Anyone who was willing/able could maybe join a different tier and give more money for you to watch maybe one more episode a week of some of the shows. Again, I completely understand that you might not have time to do that with any of the shows, but I know I would be willing to pay more a month to help you watch some shows. But if that’s not possible for your schedule, completely ignore this!

i’m so happy you got some much needed rest! less content a week definitely sounds ideal for you. you were doing too much and there’s nothing wrong with cutting back for your own good.
