Arrow 5X14: The Sin-Eater

Okay, so we've got some intel that claims that the Green Arrow killed Malone. Which, true, but we don't know the whole story. However, that doesn't stop the police from barging in on him while he's about to round of the 3 runaway prison ladies. He's all like, 'You're letting them get away!' and the police are like, 'We don't care. We're here for you.' So, he does some light flash thing with his bow and disappears.

He immediately heads to the Arrow cave where he discusses this with Felicity and Dig. They don't really know what to do, so Oliver decides to go talk to the police. He claims he has it on good authority that the Green Arrow didn't kill Malone. But since he can't offer up who that authority is, it's not really much help.

Meanwhile, reporter lady asks Oliver if he is, in fact, the Green Arrow. He tells her no, but she doesn't seem convinced. Thea tells Felicity about this, and they decide to hack into her laptop. And there, they find all the evidence she's been collecting on Oliver. So, Felicity puts some stuff on her laptop that will discredit her if she goes public with this. And reporter lady gets fired. And Oliver is pissed about this. I am not pissed about this. I think they did the right thing. This fucking bitch was using Oliver for a story. How does he not see that?

Anyway, Oliver meets with the police again and tells the truth about Malone. And claims he knows this because the Green Arrow told him. He's hoping it gets the police off his back so he can continue to do his job.

Later, when he's tracking down the 3 escapee women again, the police also show up and arrest the women, but not Arrow or his team. He thanks the chief and the chief said the mayor vouched for him.

However, shortly after that, a story breaks about Malone's death and fact that the mayor's office covered up details about it. When I was doing the reaction, I could not, for the life of me, figure out who leaked this. The chief seems cool with us now. But, now, it seems rather obvious that it was Prometheus, right?
