Okay, so it seems like we haven't lost a step since the end of S2. This episode was so good. But, that's probably no surprise at this point.
We spend most of this episode (obviously) trying to track down Cameron and Abel. However, we keep finding people that have seen Cameron, but without a baby. Leading us to start to believe that he's either killed Abel or just ditched him somewhere. But, it turns out, Cameron is in Belfast with Abel. No idea how or why, but at least the baby is still alive.
Meanwhile, back in Charming, Jax tries to break up with Tara because he fears he's ruining her life. But, she convinces him that they are better off together and it seems like all is well between the two of them.
Gemma is stuck at some motel in the middle of nowhere (Oregon? There are members of the Oregon charter around) after being on the lam. However, she reads in the paper that her mom died, and after several escape attempts, convinces Tig to go with her to see her dad. It turns out, her dad has dementia and has no idea his wife has died, but he does seem to know who Gemma is.
Sack's funeral has a huge turnout. Lots of people (me included) seemed to really like him. At the funeral though, Clay tells Jax he cannot be inactive about Abel being missing. He needs to do something to show that SOA does not take stuff lying down.
When they walk out, they are hit by a drive by (which wounds and kills several people). I have no idea who this was. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to know though. If I am, please feel free to tell me. When the van takes a corner, a guy tumbles out and police get him. He's on the ground when Jax realizes a young kid has been shot and he kind of loses it. He runs over to the guy in custody and bashes his head repeatedly into the street until he's dragged away by other members.
While this is happening, Hale tries to stop the van, and ends up getting run over. I'm 99% sure he's dead. But much like last episode, it's not completely confirmed, but I have no idea how he could live through this. Honestly, I'm not surprised. I figured we'd need to get Unser to hang around as he's empathetic to the Sons. But, I also kind of thought maybe he and Hale would just be at odds going forward. I don't know what I thought, I guess.
