One Tree Hill 8X14: Holding Out For a Hero

I truthfully have no idea if the stuff with Brooke, Haley, and Quinn adorkably endearing, or ridiculous. But, it did make me laugh. Although, I have no idea if it was because of how awful it was or how charming it was.

So Brooke, who is super bored without a job, decides to make superhero costumes for her and Haley. Haley finds this ridiculous. But then Quinn shows up (after Clay turned her bungee jumping date down, itching for some adventure) and totally wants to play. So, she gets a costume too. They beg Haley to find someone at the crisis center that they can go help. Eventually, Haley agrees and they go to the high school to help a girl who is being bullied. But it's insanely ridiculous.

Nathan, meanwhile, is still dealing with his awful professor. But, after sticking up for another student the teacher was bullying, he gets invited to a study group that is just kind of a 'we hate Kellerman' club. He talks to Clay about it and he agrees to help take him down. So, Clay shows up to class and proves he knows nothing about the practical side of business, only theory.

Chase has decided he wants to be a big brother to Chuck. I hate this. I hate Chuck. Chase is the most boring character. There is nothing more to say about this. (Yes, I know I'm supposed to feel bad because of Chuck's home life, but I can't have empathy for people running around punching people in the nuts).

I'm also done with Mia. All her character does is fight with Alex. And as much as I used to hate Alex, she's actually trying to be a good person. She's growing on me so much. Also, did they only cast people on this show who were also musicians? Or was being an actor/musician just very much a 2000s thing?

Mouth and Millie are moving back in together. I just don't really care about this relationship. I honestly don't think the two of them are good together. But, Mouth does manage to get a job working for Julian (and then turns into the actor when they quit), so good for him, I guess. Is Millie working at all right now? There is no more Clothes Over Bros. I guess she was paid pretty well as she had a pretty high position in the company, so I'm assuming she's got some savings.

I'm not really sure where we are going this season. I assume Haley will have the baby (maybe when Nathan graduates?), but other than that, I'm not sure what we're building to.
