Arrow 5X12: Bratva

And we're in Russia. I honestly think that this seasons flashbacks have been my favorite so far. I know I don't talk about flashbacks much in the descriptions, but it's already confusing enough to describe this show. 🤣 Either way, I loved the flashback/ currentness of the stuff in Russia this episode.

Anyway, we're here to try to stop the sale of the nuke that Walker is here to sell to Russian terrorists. Oliver tries to get Anatoly to help, be he refuses unless Oliver does some Bratva business, which Oliver refuses.

Felicity decides to blackmail someone at the phone company (I think) with intel from the hacktivists and she manages to be able to break into Walker's phone. However, not everyone is thrilled with her taking this path. I don't know. I feel like the jury is still out for me, but I mostly side with Rory. I don't think what she's doing is necessarily wrong, but I want to protect her at all costs.

Eventually, Oliver decides to take Anatoly up on his offer (to keep both Felicity and John from going off the deep end), and he and Dinah end up blowing up a club and breaking some guys fingers.

We finally find the bomb and Felicity and Rory are there. Felicity tries to disarm it, but accidentally speeds up the time. After entertaining a thought about quickly teaching herself to fly a plane and flying the weapon somewhere else, Rory convinces her to let his rags take care of it. They protected him once before when the bomb dropped on Haven Rock. It takes a bit of convincing, but eventually Felicity runs for it and lets him do his thing.

Later, we find out that his rags really took a beating. And he's planning to leave the team for a little while because of it.

Also, things sort of finally come to a head with reporter chick. We know she's been angling to take Oliver down for bit now, but she's really being manipulative in this episode. Her and her partner seem to have a crazy amount of evidence to claim that Oliver is the Green Arrow. I hate this.
