One Tree Hill 8X8: Mouthful of Diamonds

OMG. I was living for that fight Brooke had with Sylvia. I know she feels bad about it, but all of this needed to come out. Seriously, it is not Sylvia's life. Brooke and Julian were just fine before she showed up. We don't need her to change everything!

So, Nathan heads to Atlanta to get Troy to sign the contract. And, it turns out, he's actually pretty good at this. I don't know if this is his 'forever' career, but it seems he enjoys it enough to do it for awhile. Plus, it's probably going to be fun working with his best friend. I approve of this.

Haley is still trying to get Erin to sign with the label. She sends Mia over to talk with her, as Haley is basically responsible for Mia's career. All Erin really cares about is whether Haley is a good person, so no issues there. We all know Haley is the best of the people.

Brooke finally tells Sylvia that she and Julian plan to have a small wedding and she can't afford any of the things that Sylvia is suggesting. And when when Sylvia reminds her she's paying for it, Brooke says she doesn't want the input that comes with the money. They get into a huge fight (which is incredibly entertaining), and Sylvia leaves. Later, Brooke talks to Julian about it, and decides to apologize. It seems like they are in an okay place by the end of the episode.

Chase cannot decide between Mia and Alex. Yawn.

Throughout this episode, Julian is still shooting his documentary. I really like how this is sort of the through line of the season. And I love that Brooke is being so raw. I really hope that this documentary comes out and everyone sees how much she really cared about her investors and what she did for them. I don't know where Brooke goes from here, but I really want all the happiness in the world for her.
