Wildfire 4X2: The More Things Change Part II

So, Kris is back to help Wildfire through his race. However, she is adamant that Matt not find out she's there. This, totally does not work though. Both Junior and Dani know she's here, and both agree to keep the secret, but it comes out anyway.

Kris and Dani are getting along very well. Dani feels like Kris saved her life at the end of last season, and she's grateful. She's also trying to be a better person. Anyway, she tells Kris she can stay at the clinic rather than sleeping in her car. She only plans to be in town until Wildfire's race.

However, during the race, Wildfire breaks his leg, and Kris (along with the rest of the Ritters , Pablo, and new doctor) race down to the track to check on him. And Kris is discovered.

Wildfire is taken to Dani's clinic where the doctor tells him the next step is to euthanize him. Kris is horrified, and begs Matt to give her a minute before making any decision. She runs outside and drags new doctor in so he can tell them about some procedure that will save him. Old doctor is skeptical, and new doctor has only assisted with the procedure. But, after talking amongst themselves, they decide to go ahead with the surgery. Kris says she'll stay with Wildfire, but Jean tells her 'no.' She and Pablo are still so upset with her. They can barely even look at her.

But, the surgery is a success, and it looks like Wildfire will be okay. However, Kris has realized that it's not Wildfire who needs her, but she who needs him, and decides to stay. However, when she talks to Matt about it, she makes it clear that she's staying for Wildfire and not for him. It does not seem like the two of them are getting back together.

Also, we've got Junior who finally proposes to Laura. And I think it was a very sweet proposal. I still think it's crazy to get married after only knowing someone for 6 months, but they seem happy.
