The Flash 3X8: Invasion!

Um, hi! There are aliens.

So, apparently, there's a meteor crash that turns out to be aliens. Barry zooms over to save Central City from a meteor, but he just gets overrun by aliens. Lyla tells us that these are not new aliens and they've been here before. We can't fight them alone.

Barry is all cool, I've got a solution. He gets Team Arrow (just the OGs not the recruits), the Legends (which apparently includes Sara- huh?), and Supergirl who seems to be from some sort of parallel earth. Um, can we clone her and just have her everywhere? She's so much more effective than the rest of us.

We all meet at some STAR labs facility and are training ourselves against Supergirl (good plan, who could possible be stronger than she is). However, during training we find out that Barry ended up going back in time to bring his mom back which caused a lot of not so great things to happen in the future. We finally get confirmation that Dig's daughter Sara, became a son because of it. Also, Cisco's sibling (I forget if it was his brother or sister) ends up dying. Plus, Caitlin ends up with powers she can't use, and something is up with this Wally guy. Due to this, not so many of Team Flash are Team Barry right now. But Oliver and Felicity (and a few others are on his side).

Anyway, the aliens kidnap the president, which prompts the team(s) to head over to try to rescue him. However, Barry and Oliver stay behind. When the team(s) get there, they try to save the president, but it turns out it's a trap the aliens almost immediately start mind controlling them. Oliver and Barry know something is up, but not exactly what, so they head over.

Once they get there, they are attacked by the team(s). They do the best they can to hold them off without actually hurting or killing them. Oliver ends up engaging them all when Barry takes Supergirl to piss her off, so he can force her through the device that ended up mind controlling them all and destroying it; bring everyone back to normal.

However, shortly after this, the aliens (I can only assume) start beaming up all the members of the team. Eventually, only Oliver and Barry are left. Oliver starts to light up and Barry rushes over to help him but he doesn't get there in time. Barry ends up being the last person not to be abducted.

I have pretty much zero idea what was going on with Team Flash, but I am intrigued by some stuff. What is going on with Victor Garber? He's getting these weird vision things? Why are we all against Wally helping? (I mean he does, and it's important, but it doesn't end up great for him). Why doesn't Caitlin want whatever these powers are? (PLEASE DON'T TELL ME ANY OF THIS. AT SOME MIGHT I MIGHT ACTUALLY WATCH THIS SHOW. 🤣)
