Heartstopper 3X8: Apart
Added 2024-11-14 23:00:10 +0000 UTCWhen Charlie gets home, his mom apologizes and they compromise and decide that he can stay at Nick's after he finishes his GCSEs.
Nick and the girls go on a road trip to look at some universities. Even though he assured Charlie that his top choices were near home, it turns out that Nick fell for a school that was 4.5 hours away. He's not sure how he's going to tell this to Charlie. Also, Elle decides she wants to study in Europe, perhaps Paris or Berlin. Tara has no idea what she wants to do. And when Imogen suggests a gap year, she informs us Darcy is planning on doing that.
Meanwhile, Charlie is spending time with Tao and Issac; and rehearsing with his band to play on Sunday (I think it's Sunday, but it doesn't really matter). He also visits his therapist who he tells he's doing much better to. He realizes he's got people in life who aren't just Nick and things are going really well right now. They decide that Charlie will come once every two weeks going forward.
After the outdoor carnival thing we've got going on (why don't we have this in America?), Nick and Charlie head back to Nick's where Charlie is able to spend the night for the first time. They have sex again, but this time, Charlie allows (or actually asks for) Nick to take his (Charlie's) shirt off. After confirming that Charlie actually wants that, he does and exclaims how hot his boyfriend is. We then get some lovely shots of the two of them sleeping throughout the night.
I hate that this is over. Why Alice Osman? Why? Why only give us 8 episodes? Maybe it's not their fault. Maybe Netflix said only 8. Who am I mad at here? Lol.
