Arrow 5X6: So It Begins

This was such a tense episode. I have no idea if I side with Oliver or the recruits. I think they both make incredibly valid points. No idea idea which side I'm on here.

So, Prometheus is killing people in the most random ass way. If Oliver didn't have Felicity (and maybe Curtis) there would be zero chance of him figuring out who/why these people were being killed. Apparently, he's got some weird ass anagram of names that correspond to Oliver's dad's book. The rest of the recruits find out that Oliver used to have a kill list (which I denied for a bit until I realized this was kinda true). Also, they find out that Oliver hasn't been keeping them in the loop on the Prometheus stuff. They end up bailing.

However, when Felicity figures out the pattern and has six potential victims for the next Prometheus attack, everyone shows back up to participate. Turns out, Evelyn finds Prometheus, but is annoyed and has turned off her communication device. And then, she totally gets bested by them. Thankfully, Felicity is awesome and sends Oliver to her. He gets there and realizes that Prometheus has set a bomb that they don't have time to diffuse, so Oliver just 'arrows' them out. But Prometheus escapes. Sigh.

Meanwhile, Thea finds out that Quintin has actually not stopped drinking and has just been lying to everyone all this time. He's been late for stuff, but has been denying it's because of his drinking, but it's honest with Thea when she calls him out on it.

After doing some tests on the throwing star she stole off her BF's desk, Felicity determines that they are made up of the old arrows that Arrow has used over the years. Which means, he has access to the evidence locker. Which means, they are probably SCPD. This make so much sense. The police department is highly corrupt. Plus, so many of them have been gung ho about the vigilante task force.

Felicity has finally told her boyfriend (?) that she works with the Green Arrow. He's kind of annoyed at first, but quickly becomes curious. I'm kind of concerned that he might be Prometheus. I mean, Quintin vetted him, but we just found out he as been drunk all this time, so that might not be a solid bet.

Later, Quintin wakes up from a drunken stupor with bunch of blood smeared on his arm and a throwing star on this table. There is zero chance Prometheus can be Quintin. No matter how much they wanna try to claim he is. And if he is, i lose my shit. With Quintin being in the depths of alcoholism, there is no way he could have been apart of this. However, I'm not opposed to him somehow being involved without his knowledge. But even with that, I feel like I need a bunch of backstory to tell me how this has been happening. Maybe they've been spiking his booze with something? That could be possible.

OMG. You guys. This season is so good!
