This episode came out on the 5th October 2012. What will shock you even more about this show is that the first Snowden leaks didn't occur until 5th June 2013. The first 2 entire seasons aired before this. S3 E1 aired in September 2013. The season 1 finale was basically Snowden.

I love the storylines, and the introduction to the leader of the new threat to our heroes... Peter Collier and his mysterious organization, who've only just begun. Reese, Finch, Shaw, Carter, and Fusco are all once again fantastic throughout this episode. And so much is happening. This season has kicked off to a great start, and I cannot wait to continue on this journey with you, dear friend. And yes... Shaw is definitely this show's Maze for sure.
