Prison Break 1X3: Cell Test

Okay, so, Michael is definitely down a couple of toes, but he's unwilling to tell anyone what happened. He also refuses to get moved to a safer. housing situation. But, shortly after this, one of Abruzzi's mob guys shows up and sends some veiled threats at his kids, so Abruzzi changes his strategy and decides to try to play nice.

He finds out that Pocket Boy is planning to literally gut Michael, so he plays him, and then ends up having his guys beat him up. All in front of Michael, so he can see that Abruzzi was on his side. This actually ends up working out perfectly for Michael, as he needs Abruzzi on his side, so he and Lincoln can leave in his plane. He tells Abruzzi the escape plan, and they decide to escape together (with Lincoln, of course).

However, there is still the matter of Michael's cellmate. In order for Michael to dig out of the cell, he needs him on board. So, they give him a test to find out if he's loyal (I forget exactly how it worked, but Sucre didn't snitch and ends up losing his conjugal visits over it). Anyway, they know he's loyal, so they let him in on the plan as well. And he wants no part of it. He's getting on in 16 months and he doesn't want to jeopardize anything. He decides to switch cells. This works out okay for a little while, but then Michael gets a new cell mate, who its psychotic (so we can't trust him with the plan), but also has a disorder where he doesn't sleep (which is maybe why he's psychotic). This means Michael can't dig at night while he's asleep. This is a giant problem.

Meanwhile, the lawyer lady tracks down Leticia and convinces her to write a statement and then she'll drive her to the airport so she can get out of town. However, while she's having a smoke, a secret service agent comes to talk to lawyer lady and asks some suspicious questions. Lawyer lady deflects, but knows this is odd. As soon as he leaves, she gets scared for Leticia, which was the right thought. These fuckers kidnapped her (in broad daylight) and took her to the woods where they shot her in the head. The fuck is going on here? I mean how deep does this coverup go?
