I feel like this episode could have been so much more impactful if we didn't have Clay and Quinn in this dream world. The suspense would have been heightened so much if all we got was them in the hospital.
So in this episode, I'm mostly worried about Haley and Brooke. Not that we don't have other stuff gong on. But, thanks to this dream world, I'm less concerned about Quinn and Clay than I should be (plus they are now in the opening credits, so I feel like they are gonna be fine).
Haley has just managed to claw her way out of the depression after her mom's death. We do not need her fall back into it if Quinn dies. But honestly, it seems like she dealing okay. It helps, I'm sure, that Nathan comes back to be with her.
And Brooke. OMG. I cannot tell you how pissed off I am at both Victoria and Millie. I know at the end of the episode Brooke says it's her responsibility because it's her company, but fuck no. If your employees forge your signature on documents, it's 100% NOT YOUR FAULT. Seriously. Brooke should totally cut a deal where the two of them end up in jail and she goes free. At least Millie has the decency to know she messed up. Victoria tried to blame Brooke for it. And THEN tried to tell her that she has been proud of her, her whole life. Bitch, you just showed back up two seasons ago. You ignored your daughter for almost 20 years. You do not get to say this.
Also, I really, really loved Jamie and Julian hanging out this episode. I wonder if this came about because the two of them in Utah ended up being so enjoyable. The running joke where Jamie doesn't know who Chase is, is delightful. 🤣
I don't care, at all, about this love triangle between Chase, Alex and Mia. As much as Mia no longer bothers me, I'm not interested in this. I'm so much happier when we're on the 6 (plus Jamie) that I care about.
