Prison Break 1X1: Pilot

Oh, this is gonna be a show I have to pay attention to, isn't it? And feel like I'm gonna spend so much time trying to figure out if I don't know what's going on because I'm stupid, or I'm not supposed to know yet. Eek!

So, we've got Michael (the only person whose name I remember), purposefully getting himself arrest and thrown in prison, so he can break out his brother. His brother (I think his name starts with an 'L') told him during a visit that he didn't do what they put him away for and he's being framed. This seems like a pretty big conspiracy, as the Secret Service is involved.

Anyway, once he's in prison, Michael needs the help of Abruzzi to get on a work detail with his brother so he can talk to him. But Abruzzi blows him off. However, Michael somehow seems to have info on the guy that got Abruzzi arrested, which he exchanges for getting a job. He finally gets to talk to his brother and tells him he has a plan to break them both out. And it has to be soon since his brother is getting executed in 30 (60? 90? Something like that, but definitely very soon) days.

Turns out, Michale is an engineer and has seen the blue prints to the prison. Before getting arrested, he tattooed them onto his body. He also claims he has a plan for money (fake D.B. Cooper?), and help for when they get out, but the help (Abruzzi, I'm guessing) doesn't yet know they are helping.

And somehow this all involves spending a lot of time in medical. (There's a floor grate, and a cable that runs to the next building, both of which seem important). So during his intake, he tells them he's got Type 1 Diabetes, but it seems like the doctor is about it figure out that he's lying, so he gets some guy on the yard to get him a drug that blocks insulin. (I'm pretty sure this drug was on his giant window of info in the beginning).

Oh, and I think I'm really gonna like Michael's cellmate. I hope he sticks around for awhile.
