This episode was actually pretty entertaining. I quite enjoyed it.
So, we've got this actress (influencer?) who is convinced that she's cursed. And I can totally see why. Her assistant ends up getting her some ancient artifact from Pompeii that survived after the volcanic eruption. It's worth, like, $20,000.
First a chandelier falls on her, then hot wax encases her, then she passes out at a New Age store, then she gets in an accident and her car is encased in asphalt. And I'm pretty sure I'm missing one other thing as well.
While all this is going on, the 118 starts to suspect that this bracelet is cursed. Well, expect for Eddie. We know his feelings on this. And Athena too. But Chim is super freaked out. Hen kind of is too, but not like Chim.
Anyway, after the New Age incident, where Felisa's assistant ends up getting stabbed with a crystal, the police are now involved. It turns out, she's not actually cursed, but the person who made the bracelet is trying to get it back and this is all just a series of occurrences caused by him.
Athena and Eddie figure out that this guy is selling knock offs for tens of thousands of dollars, and claiming them as one of a kind pieces. However, if people see a celebrity wearing it, they will all know their stuff is fake. So, he's desperately trying to get the bracelet back, so as not to ruin his business. Plus, her assistant was telling her the pieces were crazy expensive and pocketing a good chunk of money. Which, Felisa doesn't care about. She doesn't care if she's stealing, as long as she stays.
And we get Buck, who feels like he's cursed because he cannot make his sperm donation. And he's been choosing to abstain until he can get it done. First they didn't get his paperwork, then they were at lunch, then there was a power outage, then something else. On the last appointment, his Jeep dies and he has to sprint through the streets of LA to make it time. And he does, with 3 minutes to spare!
