Fucking Ken, man. Jean is right. This guy is just fucking awful. After his kids did the best they could to keep things afloat when he thought he might end up in jail, his next step is to try to take back the assets he just left them. Seriously. This guy is a snake.

Anyway, Kerry has been found. He's in the hospital, but unconscious as of yet. Turns out, none of the money the Ritters or Kris are supposed to have is accessible to them. Weird. Eventually, Jean calls and asks about the purse money and is informed that it was deposited into a special account the day after the race. Also weird. Kris is also dealing with the fact that her checks are bouncing. But as she's on the phone arguing with the bank, Kerry wakes up so she hangs up.

She's busy trying to tend to him and momentarily forgets about the money issue. However, no one else does. And Junior's been putting some things together. Turns out, Kerry wasn't flying back to California, his flight path was to Mexico. Dun dun dun. This asshole stole all the money and was gonna flee the country. Is he worse than Ken? He tries to tells Kris that he was in money trouble with bad people and he really needed it. Kris isn't buying it and turns him over to the cops.

And, while that's good, there's basically zero chance of getting the money back. So now we're short, like, a million dollars. Kris promises to pay the Ritters and the farm back, but that's gonna be hard on a jockey's salary.

This description is brief because I already watched the next two episodes, and I'm not sure what happened in each episode. 😳 This (and responding to comments) is why I shouldn't watch too far ahead. I'm sorry!
