Felicity 4X11: A Perfect Match
Added 2024-10-15 22:50:02 +0000 UTCI hate that this feels like a slow march towards the death of this show. I'm not really loving this season. And I loved the hell out of the first two. I feel like last season was hit or miss, but this one is so not my favorite. Sigh.
So, after a conversation with his potentially dying dad, Ben decides to get back together with Felicity. I guess I should be happy about this, but at this point, I think I'm kind of over it.
But, we've got good news, Ben's dad's got a liver! Huzzah! Except, oops, it's a blizzard and they can't get it to the hospital. However, Ben's mom is a match to donate and while dad said he didn't want that, he's in a coma (or something similar) and Ben's got POA, so he goes ahead and lets him mom do it.
However, there are complications. Ben's dad is fine, but mom is bleeding and they can't stop it. I mean, eventually they do, but I cannot imagine the kind of guilt Ben would put himself through if it turned out that his word killed his mom. But, by the end, all is well.
Sean and Noel decide to go into business together, which is a terrible idea, because Sean sucks. Maybe this why he's had a zillion businesses and none of them have been successful. But he's argumentative with the client and refuses to compromise. Later, Noel goes back and deals with the client solo and gets the gig. But afterwards, he still wants to work with Sean. I so don't get it, but it's not my life.
And as much as I sort of complained about this episode and this season, I did get a little emotional when they were talking about what was gonna happen a year from now when they weren't together anymore.
