I probably say, 'I hate this,' about 50 times this episode. I apologize in advance.
So, Cupid is back. And she's targeting celebrity and high profile couples to kill and prove that love is dead. You can probably guess where this is going.
After two other killings, Arrow and Co. discovers that Oliver and Felicity is next. Of course, loser bitch doesn't realize they've broken up. So, they hold a fake wedding to draw her out. During which, Felicity gives a bullshit speech just meant to get it over with. Oliver, however, gives an impassioned speech about how much she loved him and changed his life. And it was beautiful.
Then Cupid shoots Oliver in the chest with an arrow. (Thankfully, he was wearing Kevlar). But afterwards, Felicity gives her own speech about how much Oliver has changed her life and why love really is worth it. But it seems like it was all a ploy to give Dig and Thea enough time to converge. Later, she tells Oliver that what she said was true, but not for the two of them. 💔
Cupid, for her part, is moved by what Felicity said, and seems like she believes in love again. However, they do manage to successfully get her arrested.
In other news, we've got Darhk's attorney trying to argue that the charges against him should be dismissed due to lack of evidence. Laurel puts John on the stand by the other lawyer makes him seem unreliable. Then, even though, Laurel is against it, Quintin goes up. He doesn't really have any evidence either, but he convinces the judge that he's doing this at risk to his life, career, and reputation, so why would he lie? She agrees and puts Darhk in jail until the trial. But see him in jail with some kind of wedding ring that you know is gonna be important later on.
Ugh. I hate it so much. This show has 8 seasons. I'm gonna be so said if Oliver and Felicity are apart for the next 4 seasons. I hate it so much.
