9-1-1 6X2: Crash and Learn

They hire a contractor to help fix the part of the house he crashed into with the car. Later, he and Bobby are digging and they find a body until the house. Athena pretty much immediately recognizes it as the missing child from when she was a girl. You know, the reason she became a cop. This begs so many questions! Why is it under Athena's parents' house? Are her parents involved? Is the contractor? Will her dad ever wake up and deal with this?
Meanwhile, back in LA, Hen is doing the best she can to be both Captain and doctoral student. But, it's not going well. Poor Hen is a mess. She does not have time to sleep, eat, or see her family. After she takes her final exam, she is so exhausted, she passes out behind the wheel and almost kills herself (about potentially, other people).
After all this, we find out that she failed her exam and her professor wants her to repeat the second year. There is so not enough time to do that. And even if there was, Karen tells her she needs to choose between doctor or paramedic because Hen has been a hot mess for weeks now.
It doesn't help for poor Hen, that she also ended up losing a victim while she was exhausted. To be fair, she made the right call, and he would have died whether she was rested or not, but I'm sure it is still weighing on her.
Also, it looks like poor Athena and Bobby will still have to wait for their honeymoon. Don't these two deserve a break?
