9-1-1 5X18: Starting Over

This felt like it could have been a series finale to me. Everyone ended up in such a good place.

Maddie and Chim have lunch, where Chim is expecting her to ask if it's okay for her to date other people. He agrees, but she's flustered and confused, as she wanted to talk to him about going back to work. He's fine with it. Then she tells him he can date if he wants to, but he assures her he isn't thinking about that. Later, they meet up for some lunch with Jee-Yun, and it looks like maybe our little family is starting to inch their way back together.

Bobby is still blaming himself for letting Jonah into the house. He's not acting like himself. Eddie ends up going to the house to check on him. He tells Bobby that if he's going to take the blame for everything, he needs to take the credit too. And he and Christopher, along with countless others, are in that camp. Once Eddie leaves, Bobby takes out a bottle of booze he had just bought and dumps it down the sink. Later, he and Athena decide they are going to take a cruise, as it's been way too long since they've had a vacation.

Buck has been avoiding Taylor since she did the story that she promised him she wasn't going to do. After talking to Maddie about it, it seems like he's going to try to make up with her. Eventually, they have a conversation, and she doesn't really seem to understand why he upset. She's all like, 'You know this is my job.' But bitch, you promised him you weren't going to do your job! Anyway, they decide on a clean slate, and I was so annoyed. But then, Buck was all, 'A clean slate without you.' And I cheered! She's finally gone! (I'm gonna be so annoyed if they end up getting back together over the hiatus. Lol.

Hen's mom decides to get married. But when she asks to get married at the house, Karen abruptly walks away, furious. When Hen finds her, Karen tells her she's upset because her mom didn't come to there wedding, and it broke Hen's heart. And she was still upset with her for it. But, on the day of the actual wedding, her mom tells her that the two of them are getting married instead, so she can be there. She and Clive will get married another day. So, Hen and Karen renew their vows. ❤️

And, AND, AND, Eddie is back at the 118! It took much longer than I wanted it to, but my family is back together again, so I'll take it. Does this mean that we're getting rid of Lucy? She was just starting to grow on me.
