So, the good news is that Clay and Quinn (somehow, it all seemed a little complicated to me) managed to get Nathan on the Sacramento Kings, but also arrange a trade to the Bobcats on the same day. He was going to be offered 7 million to play in Spain, but Clay managed to get him 15 million to stay at home. But he has to let Clay be his agent again, and he has to accept that he loves Quinn.
It seems like Haley is still planning on going on tour though. We see her, Nathan, and Jamie loading up the tour bus. But they seem pretty happy about it. But they could just be happy that everything worked out. I don't know what Jamie is gonna do. Is he going with Haley? Or staying with Nathan? Neither really seem like good options. Unless they get some sort of nanny, but I don't think Haley or Nathan will ever trust a random stranger with Jamie again.
Alex is gonna be just fine. Of course she is. Nathan went over to her hotel room to tell her that the movie was gonna get made, and he found her in the tub. Brooke meets him at the hospital, so it doesn't seem like they aren't on speaking terms, but it's not good between them.
Julian talks to Alex and she's lethargic and weak and sad. But once he tells her that the movie is back on and they are working on it together, she breaks into a huge smile and all of a sudden has plenty of energy. 🙄 Julian makes her promise never to do this again. She agrees, and Brooke happens to walk by as Julian grabs her hand.
Later, he tells Brooke that he loves her, he misses or and he wants to be with her. But also, that he's doing the movie with Alex. Brooke points out to him that he likes vulnerable, sad girls. We don't get confirmation one way or the other how that conversation ends.
Millie get dropped off by Mouth at what I think is rehab. (Brooke tells her she's not a model anymore, but she is still her friend and she needs to get help). But once he leaves, she climbs out the window and down the fire escape. So, maybe this isn't rehab? Surely they would have it better monitored if it was.
During his live show at Tree Hill High, Dan shocks the audience (and Rachel) by telling them this is his last show. He realizes that there is no such thing as forgiveness, and all you can do is live with what you've done. He's made a lot of money off of this endeavor though, so he's donated all of it. (He doesn't seem to come clean about his heart though). He also serves Rachel with divorce papers. She's initially excited to get his money, but then realizes there is no money as he gave it all away. We see him boarding a bus at the end of the episode, so I have no idea what's going on with him.
Also, Skills gets the job in LA, so he and Mouth head there together.
This seems like a mid season finale. I assume it was. I'm also wondering if we're going to get a time jump when we get back. It seems like there are so many moving pieces right now, that I don't know how we'll be able to follow along with everything. Haley on tour, Nathan on the road, Mouth and Skills in LA, Dan who knows where. It just seems like a lot.
